Advance Manufacturing Training Centre

£1m per year for five years pledged to support the next generation.

Lloyds Banking Group has continued its commitment to support the UK manufacturing sector by launching a £1million a year sponsorship of the Lloyds Bank Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre at the Manufacturing Technology Centre, Coventry.

Opened in 2015, the centre will help address the sector’s skills gap in the UK and develop more than 1,000 engineering apprentices and trainees during the initial Lloyds Banking Group partnership.

We have also developed a strong network of sector specialists that includes: manufacturers, government agencies, independent specialists and finance providers. This has deepened our understanding of the manufacturing environment, enabling us to develop banking solutions in response to changing economic conditions
