Upcoming improvements to bulk payments

The way you pay recipients is changing. We’re enhancing security checks to help prevent fraud and keep your accounts safe when making bulk payments. We’re also improving the appearance of the bulk payment screens too. 

Here’s what this means for you:

  • When paying someone for the first time, you’ll need to authenticate the payment using your card and reader. 
  • If you’ve paid someone within the last 18 months, you won’t need to authenticate the next payment to them. 
  • If you haven’t paid someone within the last 18 months, you’ll need to authenticate the next payment using your card and reader.

  • Limit amends subject to credit assessment.

We are available 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturday, except on UK bank holidays.

All lending is subject to a satisfactory credit assessment and we will need your permission to carry out a credit check on you and your business. 

You should not apply for an amount that you cannot comfortably afford to repay now and in the future to avoid the possibility of legal action.
