What you could pay

Monthly fees

You pay this when you:

  • Use a device for face-to-face payments
  • Take online payments from a page on a website
  • We also add on VAT

You could pay a one-off fee instead for some devices. 

Service Charges

If you’re a pay as you go customer, you only pay a transaction fee for each payment your customers make.

For all other customers, we charge the following fees on every payment you take:

  • Transaction fees for accepting card payments such as Visa Debit or Mastercard Credit
  • An authorisation fee.

Your minimum monthly charge is £10.

Additional fees​

Some transactions may come with additional fees such as: 

  • Card-not-present fee (e.g. sale by phone)
  • International card payments
  • Payment made online or by link
  • Refunds and chargebacks

These examples show what a typical service charge for a single transaction is like.

Face to face

A customer buys products worth £100 in-store
with a UK VISA debit card.

Online, over the phone or by mail

These prices are just to give you an idea of what we charge for transactions. They do not include monthly card reader rental fees.
We'll only charge a payment gateway transaction fee if you've taken out a payment page for online payments with us.

  • Payment Card Industry Data Security Services management
  • Software subscription is required for some card readers

Fees for extras​

Adding services and accessories may come with additional fees. Examples are:

  • Accessories such as a cash drawer or printers
  • Accepting American Express payments
