Mark Brotherton

Chief Operating Officer

 

As Deputy Chair of the Financial Institutions Executive Committee, Mark has a diverse range of responsibilities across client services, finance, risk, change, data and people. Mark is the Management Team Accountable Executive for our Asian and European Regional businesses. He collaborates with operations colleagues to ensure financial institutions benefit from a ‘client first’ ethos across all areas of the Group.

Mark has extensive experience at Lloyds Bank. His previous roles include leading a large change programme for the Chief Risk Officer, serving as Chief Operating Officer for the North American business based in New York, and supporting the Group Finance Director directly during the financial crisis. Before this he served as Area Director for the Midlands based in Birmingham and spent 15 years as a relationship director. He started his career in retail banking and credit functions.

Mark is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has a master’s degree in strategic marketing.
