Crown Dependencies Eco Home Tool

How does the tool work?

It’s easy to get started with our tool. You’ll just need to answer a few questions about your home to get your personalised action plan. In it, you’ll be able to see your:

  • current and estimated (after improvements) energy bills
  • current and estimated Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating
  • estimated savings after improvements (and how much they’ll cost)
  • current and estimated CO2 emissions.

If you need a bit more guidance on any of the questions, just click the help button. If you don’t know the answer to some questions, like the year your house was built, just give a rough estimate. Some of the information you’ll be asked for includes:

  • your postcode
  • the year your house was built
  • how you currently heat your home
  • what insulation you have
  • what your walls and roof are made of.

Just follow the steps and you’ll be on your way to cutting your carbon emissions and making some home energy savings.
